Cirque de Vogue by David Paulus

On the 29th of June, David Paulus presented his newest collection 'Cirque de Vogue'. With his S/S 15 collection, he celebrates his 5 years of being a designer. I'm  excited to see his shows, because they're always a surprise!

This collection contains two themes: the 'Ready to wear' collection and the 'Art Couture'. I really liked all the fun colors and that the the title came back in all the pieces, even in the Ready to wear collection. The combination of the crazy, arty pieces and the totally wearable pieces, had me interested.

It wouldn't be David Paulus without some kind of dance during the show. After a silent movie was shown( see the movie here) 3 very fashionable clowns showed their moves on the beats of Madonna's Vogue.

Truly a fun show, in which David Paulus has shown us that he is a designer that likes to have fun designing his collections!

Eden Schwartz & Missy Taylor

A short blog today! Last week I went to the fashion show of Eden Schwartz and Missy Taylor. I went with my dear friend Çetin.

I love events where they serve champagne and where I can have fun with my girl! And get a preview of the s/s 14 collection :)

Enjoy your week darlings! Xoxo

Dons & Diva's

Last week I went to the first edition of Dons & Diva's in Amsterdam. I was invited by the talented designer David Paulus. I haven't seen new work of his and the other designers showing, so I was happy when the day was there!

I was barely alive after a crazy work/party weekend(thank God for make up) but still went to do the report. I missed my fashion partner in crime, especially inside, when we were all waiting to see the catwalkshow. I know women can be bitches, but black women are the worst: I always tend to forget this, and ALWAYS get reminded at events like this. Looking at you with the evil eye, while bitching about you to their even bitchier gay friend. Or maybe this was a bad case of bitchy resting face, I don't know. All right enough frustration gossip(did I mention she was an ugly biatch?;) and of to the shows.

I really liked the shows especially the ones by David Paulus and Rbel! Ellen Willink was the first to show, with her original eco fashion. After that the edgy , and well styled, show of Rbel. followed. Carmichael Byfield showed one of his previous collections, but I never mind watching male models strutting their stuff on the runway. Especially in fabulous outfits. And the final show of the night, was the 'No Name' collection by David Paulus. I immediately fell in love with the Anna Wintour print!
