Paris...One of my favorite cities, so I was very happy when I got a trip to this beautiful city! Everytime I go to it seems like I have to little time to do everything. This was the first time I went in the summer, and I have to say: Paris is even more fabulous in the summer!

I stayed in the 16th arrondissement which is a very trendy and lively neighborhood to stay. And...it's very close to the Marais, a very nice neighborhood to shop, if you're into vintage shopping. On the Rue de la Sainte-Croix you'll find a lot of vintage shops such as Free'P'Star and Vintage By Ramin. Free 'P' Star was definitely my favorite. I could search for cool stuff for hours...But not only vintage shops. There's also Bazar de la Mode, a big discount shop where you can find brands such as Tommy Hilfiger and Guess. And Pierre Herme, if you love heavenly macarons...
The Lomography shop is a definite must see: in this store you'll find all kinds of analogue camera's!!
On the Rue de Rivoli there are a lot of big stores such as Zara and H&M. But small boutiques also. And OMG! I was so happy when I saw the big Sephora! Shopped my beauty must haves as well.
If you walk straight ahead on the Rue de Rivoli you'll reach the Louvre at a certain point. And the romantic bridge Pont des Arts is very nearby.
This was also a very special trip for me...I got engaged! At the Pont des Arts my dearest hubby to be asked me to marry him! For me this trip was a good combination of shopping, culture and love...
Au revoir Paris!
